Agartala Auxilium School Student Madhuja Debnath Wins ‘Best Delegate’ Award at I.I.M.U.N. Conference 2024–25

Bringing immense pride to Tripura, Madhuja Debnath has been awarded the prestigious ‘Best Delegate’ title at the India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N.) Conference 2024–25, held during a three-day event in Agartala. The international level Model United Nations simulation witnessed participation from some of the brightest young minds across the state, where Madhuja stood out with her remarkable performance.

Representing a global diplomatic stance with confidence, eloquence, and leadership, Madhuja earned the Certificate of Excellence and the coveted Best Delegate medal, marking a proud moment not only for her family but also for the state of Tripura. Her efforts were guided and mentored by Abhishek Dhawan, the Chief Mentor of I.I.M.U.N., under whose encouragement she showcased exceptional skills in global policy dialogue.

In recognition of her outstanding participation, Madhuja also received a certificate of application, a gold medal, and an inspirational book titled Bring It On, authored by Padma Shri Deepa Malik, India’s first woman Paralympic medalist. The book, a symbol of resilience and determination, adds deeper meaning to Madhuja’s triumph, echoing the spirit of achieving greatness through perseverance.

This feat is more than just personal recognition, it stands as an inspiration for the youth of Tripura, encouraging them to engage in diplomacy, leadership, and public speaking at national and international levels. Her success underscores the rising academic potential emerging from the capital city, Agartala.

The three day event was held at Delhi World Public School, Agartala, located near the Tripura High Court. Madhuja, daughter of Tripurainfo.com Editor Jayanta Debnath and Advocate Madhumita Bhattacharjee, has been continuously involved in intellectual and academic pursuits. A class viii student of Agartala Auxilium Girls School Madhuja has also served as one of the young quiz masters in the tripurainfo Mega Quiz since 2021, further highlighting her diverse talents and commitment to excellence.
