BJP Leaders Attacked in Asharambari: Tipra Motha Miscreants Will Not Be Spared, Says BJP Tribal Leader Bipin Debbarma

In a shocking incident today, a group of alleged miscreants belonging to Tipra Motha launched a brutal and inhumane attack on BJP’s Mandal President and six other BJP supporters in Asharambari. Condemning the violent assault, BJP State General Secretary Bipin Debbarma stated that all the attackers will be identified and strict legal action will be taken against them.

According to Bipin Debbarma, the attackers came armed with machetes and guns, with a clear intent to kill the BJP Mandal leaders. As a result of the attack, seven BJP supporters sustained injuries, two of whom have been admitted to GB Hospital in Agartala for critical treatment. Additionally, six to seven motorcycles and two vehicles were vandalized during the incident.

Debbarma alleged that Tipra Motha’s miscreants had declared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” programme should not be held anywhere within the ADC (Autonomous District Council) area. He confirmed that the matter has already been brought to the attention of the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and the BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee.

Demanding stringent legal action, the senior tribal leader from BJP emphasized that the party will not tolerate such lawlessness. He also mentioned that a team of senior tribal BJP leaders will visit Asharambari to assess the situation on the ground.

Bipin Debbarma further remarked that this incident has raised serious questions about the future of BJP’s alliance with Tipra Motha. He stated that both state and central leadership has to be reconsider the nature of the political understanding with Tipra Motha in light of these recent developments.
