CM Dr. Manik Saha Inspects Key Infrastructure Projects in Agartala, Emphasizes Timely Completion and Quality

In a proactive step towards enhancing civic amenities for the residents of Agartala, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today conducted an extensive inspection across multiple areas of the city, including Gangail Road, Melarmath, Joynagar, and Dashamighat, falling under Wards 34 and 32 of the Agartala Municipal Corporation.
The inspection covered several ongoing infrastructure projects, with a primary focus on the development of a modern drainage system aimed at mitigating persistent waterlogging issues during monsoon seasons. These drainage upgrades are part of a larger initiative to improve urban living standards through reliable civic infrastructure.
During the site visits, Chief Minister Dr. Saha personally assessed the quality and progress of the works. He interacted with engineers and field-level officials to gain firsthand insights into the challenges faced during implementation. Emphasizing the need for swift action, Dr. Saha directed concerned departments and executing agencies to ensure timely completion of the projects while strictly adhering to quality benchmarks.
The Chief Minister also took time to listen to local residents and gather their feedback on the ongoing works and general civic issues. He reiterated that the government’s goal is to ensure that infrastructural development directly translates to better service delivery and improved daily life for citizens.
