Tripura Government Ensures Regular Jobs for 19,742 Youths in 7 Years, Prioritizing Quality Public Services and Employment

Focusing on quality public service delivery and employment generation, the Tripura Government has successfully ensured regular government jobs for a total of 19,742 skilled and eligible youths over the past seven years, including compassionate (die-in-harness) appointments.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today highlighted this achievement while addressing an appointment letter distribution ceremony for engineers. Speaking at the event, he emphasized that engineers play a crucial role in the timely implementation of Tripura's visionary infrastructure development projects. Recognizing this, the state government has been conducting regular recruitments in key technical departments like the Public Works Department (PWD).

Continuing this initiative, the state government organized a formal appointment letter distribution ceremony today at the Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala. A total of 184 newly appointed Junior Engineers (TES Grade-V, Group B) received their appointment letters from the Chief Minister himself.

Extending his congratulations, Dr. Saha wished all the newly appointed engineers a successful professional journey and urged them to contribute sincerely to the state’s development goals.

This initiative is part of the government’s broader strategy to empower Tripura’s youth and enhance governance through efficient service delivery.
