Saju Vaheed, IAS and Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS to be represented from Tripura to National Conference on ‘Good Governance Practices’ on July 17–18, 2025

The Government of Tripura has nominated two of its senior IAS officers, Shri Saju Vaheed, IAS and Shri Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS to participate in the National Conference on ‘Good Governance Practices’ scheduled to be held on 17th and 18th July 2025 at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Reportedly, Shri Saju Vaheed A, IAS, former District Magistrate & Collector of Dhalai District, who is currently serving as the Mission Director of the National Health Mission (NHM), Tripura and Shri Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS, former District Magistrate & Collector of Gomati District, presently posted as Chief Executive Officer of the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). Both officers will depart from their headquarters on 16th July 2025 and are expected to return by 19th July 2025, or on the actual dates of onward and return journey, whichever is earlier.
The National Conference on Good Governance Practices is a flagship initiative of the DARPG aimed at showcasing administrative innovations and policy reforms that have yielded transformative results in governance across India. It serves as a platform for bureaucrats, policymakers, and domain experts to exchange ideas, share successful models, and reinforce the principles of transparency, accountability, and citizen-centric service delivery. The participation of Tripura’s senior officials in such a significant national-level forum is expected to enhance visibility of the state’s developmental strategies and highlight effective governance models being implemented under the National Health Mission and Rural Livelihood programs. Their presence is also anticipated to facilitate fruitful exchange of ideas that may benefit governance back home in Tripura.
