Police prayed for custody of Manoj Gun, suspected killer, and two others accused in the Asish Das murder case in Kamalpur

Manoj Gun, who is better known as Manoj Kaka, the main accused and suspected Supari-killer of the sensational Asish Das Murder case in Kamalpur, was produced before the court, and police wanted his custody for four days for further interrogation on Sunday. Judge J Chatterjee kept the hearing pending, and it will be heard today.

Asish Das, a resident of Bansdrone in Kamalpur, was killed on July 7 near the local brickfield. The murder evoked much sensation in the area as the names of many influential persons also got involved in it.

In this case, seven people have been arrested so far. Out of them, three persons, including Manoj Gun, the manager of the brick kiln, Prasanta Das, and Pranesh Banik. It is suspected that Manoj Gun was hired for the murder, and he hired Pranesh from the 82-mile area.
