Missing Tripura Student's Body from Yamuna River, CM condoles

In a tragic turn of events, the body of Sneha Debnath, a missing student from Tripura, has been recovered from the Yamuna River in Delhi. The incident has sent shockwaves through the state, with the Chief Minister expressing deep sorrow over the loss.
The recovery was made possible following the proactive intervention of the Tripura Chief Minister's Office and the prompt cooperation of the Delhi Police. Their joint efforts expedited the investigation, ultimately leading to the identification and retrieval of the student’s body.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the student took her own life by jumping into the Yamuna River. However, officials have stated that a comprehensive probe is underway to determine the exact circumstances and the reasons behind the incident.
Reacting to the heartbreaking development, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of all possible support. He has also directed the officials at Tripura Bhawan in Delhi to extend every necessary assistance to the family and to remain closely involved in the ongoing investigation.
