Teliamura subdivisional court to be opened soon within the current financial year, people to benefit

If all goes well, the people of Teliamura subdivision will have their long-awaited subdivisional court within the current financial year-that is ,by the end of March 2026. In a significant development today the judge of the high court of Tripura, justice Biswajit Palit led a team of administrative officials on a visit to the proposed court complex in Teliamura. Justice Palit was accompanied by the district judge of Khowai Ved Pratim Debbarma and SDM , Teliamura Parimal Majumder.

The team inspected the propose site for construction of the subdivisional court complex. Having inspected the site with other members of the delegation Justice Biswajit Palit briefly spoke to the media and said that a he will submit a detailed report on his inspection to the chief justice of the high court Justice Aparesh Kumar Sinha. The chief justice will take the final decision on commencement of the full-fledged construction work. “Going by the work already done, as I have seen here today, I am sure that the full –fledged construction work for the court will commence soon and it is only a matter of short time before the subdivisional court in Teliamura becomes a reality” said Justice Biswajit Palit.
