Major Reshuffle in Tripura Administration: Tarit Kanti Chakma transferred from the post of DM, Gomati as the CEO, TRLM

In a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at improving governance and service delivery, the Government of Tripura has issued a notification for the transfer and posting of several IAS, IFS, and TCS officers. The notification, released by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department, came into effect on July 1, 2025, and includes changes in responsibilities across key departments and districts.

Key Transfers and Postings:

Shri Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS has been transferred from the post of DM & Collector, Gomati District, Udaipur, and appointed as the CEO, Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), Agartala.

Shri Rinku Lather, IAS, previously ADM & Collector, Sepahijala District and Addl. Commissioner, AMC, has been posted as DM & Collector, Gomati District, Udaipur.

Shri Prashant Badal Negi, IAS, who was serving as MD, NHM with additional charges, has been relieved from NHM and Member Secretary (NAM) duties.

Shri Saju Vaheed A, IAS has been transferred from DM & Collector, Dhalai District, Ambassa, and posted as MD, NHM with addl. charges of Member Secretary, NAM.

Ms. Megha Jain, IAS, earlier ADM & Collector (PP), West Tripura District, has now been appointed as Director of Urban Development, Commissioner, TUDA, and CEO, Tripura Jal Board, Agartala.

Dr. Sailesh, IAS, who held multiple portfolios including Director of Industries & Commerce and CEO of Agartala Smart City Ltd., has been relieved from the charge of Director of Skill Development, Tripura.

Shri Pradip K. IAS, former ADM & Collector, South Tripura District, Belonia, has been posted

as Director Skill development.

Shri Akinchan Sarkar, TCS SSG has been given the charge of Addl. Secretary, Finance Department, along with additional responsibilities as Director of Treasuries, Member Secretary, Tripura State Finance Commission, and Commissioner of Taxes, Agartala.

Shri Mihir Kanti Gop, IAS, ADM & Collector (PP), North Tripura, Dharmanagar

is posted as Addl. Director of Urban Development, Agartala,

Shri Bijay Sinha, TCS Gr-I, Sr. Dy. Magistrate, Unakoti, has been transferred as ADM & Collector, North Tripura District, Dharmanagar.

Shri Ajit Sukladas, IAS, Addl. Secretary, RD Department, will now serve as Director of Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture and MD, THHDC Ltd., Tripura.

Shri R Arun Kumar, IFS, currently Director of Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture and MD, THHDC Ltd., has been repatriated to Forest HQ, Tripura, Agartala.

The notification has been signed by Deputy Secretary to the Government of Tripura, and copies have been forwarded to all concerned departments and officials for immediate action.
