Bangladeshi ‘Momins’ gang rape married Hindu woman , circulate nude pix of humiliation in social media, protest

Acting true to the barbaric mindset instilled by a bestial faith system since the 7th century, a gang of five libidinous ‘Momins’ gang-raped a married Hindu woman in Murad Nagar area under Bangladesh’s Comilla district and circulated her disrobed body in social media to further deepen the hapless lady’s humiliation. This savage persecution happened on the night of June 26 when the woman was alone in a room of her ancestral home , having come to visit her parents. A gang of five ‘Momin’ monsters led by local BNP leader and notorious rapist Fazar Ali (36) had broken into the room where the married Hindu woman was alone at night and subjected her to beastly torture . Even the picture of the lady piteously crying and begging for mercy was also circulated.
But, for a change, the exposure of this brutal crime in social media sparked a furore and following a specific complaint filed with the police , all five culprits were arrested including Fazar Ali from Syedabad area of Dhaka where he had taken shelter . The SP (Comilla) Nazir Ahmed Khan informed local media persons of the arrest but sources from Comila expressed misgivings over the action that the police is supposed to take to ensure the culprits are brought to justice. Sources said that that the persecuted lady had daringly filed the complaint but now the ‘Momin’ leadership cutting across party lines would put the lady’s family under pressure either to withdraw the complaint or not to pursue the case in court.
For a change, the students of Dhaka university took out a rally yesterday to protest the gang-rape of a hapless house-wife . The students of university’s Jagannath Hall , meant for Hindu students, also took out a protest programme demanding justice for the victims. But significantly, there is no reaction from the political parties who maintain a studied silence over the issue as persecuting or perpetrating atrocities on Hindu men and women is considered an act of piety for the savage ‘Momins’, as ordained by their devilish scripture.
