Tripura Gramin Bank opens two more branches in Khowai subdivision

As part of its expansion of service in nooks and corners of the state, the Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) possessed of the largest banking network in the state opened two branches in the Office Tilla area of Khowai town and in Chebri area south of the town. The function of the branch opening was attended by the chairman of the TGB Satyendra Singha, DM (Khowai) Rajat Pantha, SDM Charu Verma, vice chairperson of the Khowai panchayat samity Uttam Adhikary, TGB’s south region manager Sujit Roy and other VIPs.
Addressing the jubilant gathering on the occasion Satyendra Singha, chairman of TGB, said that the Gramin bank is rendering yeoman’s service to the people of the state and ridding the rural and hilly masses of indebtedness through its micro lending programme at low interest. “We are extending all possible technological facilities and the best possible service to the customers at par with the privately run banks ; our bank is now on the positive commercial side and will improve its functioning margins of profits day by day through upgradation of service” said chairman Satyendra Singha.
