Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha stated that the present state government is fully committed to ensuring good governance reaches the grassroots level, with a strong focus on development, especially in infrastructure. Speaking at an event in Sabroom, South Tripura district, Dr. Saha yesterday emphasized that the state administration is aligning its efforts with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build a developed India under the 'Viksit Bharat Amritkal' initiative.
Highlighting the ongoing progress, the Chief Minister revealed that he alone has so far inaugurated or laid the foundation stones for various projects worth Rs. 612 crore in 2025. This includes a major boost to infrastructure across South Tripura and other parts of the state.On the occasion, the CM virtually inaugurated several important projects, including the newly built 1000-seat Girls' Hostel at Sabroom Girls' Higher Secondary School. In addition, he inaugurated a total of 19 projects worth Rs. 32 crore dedicated to the South Tripura district.
Dr. Saha stressed that the government is taking a holistic approach to development by focusing not just on physical infrastructure but also on the social and economic aspects that directly benefit people. He reiterated that all government initiatives are being guided by the principle of inclusive growth and last-mile delivery of services.
According to him, the ultimate goal of the government is to ensure that the benefits of all schemes and initiatives reach every section of society, without discrimination, and that development is both visible and impactful on the ground.
