Despite the release of the Final Answer Keys for TET Paper I and II, a group of aspirants staged protests outside the TRBT office, alleging errors in the evaluation. Candidates claimed several questions were either factually incorrect or outside the prescribed syllabus, citing references from NCERT and SCERT textbooks to back their claims.

Demanding a transparent re-evaluation before results are declared, the aspirants said they had been unfairly marked, even when their answers matched official textbooks.

In response, TRBT Chairman Pratyush Ranjan Deb issued a formal statement defending the board’s position. He clarified that all objections were earlier accepted online and forwarded to multiple subject experts. “The Final Answer Keys were published strictly based on the written decisions of these experts. TRBT has no role in altering them,” he stated. He further added that any candidate disagreeing with the final keys may seek legal remedy.

The board also accused a section of candidates of attempting to damage TRBT’s reputation by repeatedly gathering at the office, causing disruptions and making baseless allegations through media. Deb reiterated that TET follows national-level standards like CTET and NEET, where subject experts’ decisions are final and binding.
