India Rises from ‘Fragile Five’ to 4th Largest Economy Under PM Modi’s Visionary Leadership: CM Dr. Manik Saha

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha lauded the extraordinary achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government over the past 11 years, highlighting how India, once ranked among the ‘Fragile Five’ economies, has now emerged as the fourth-largest economy in the world under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing an intellectuals' meet organized by the BJP Sadar District Committee at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala, Dr. Saha emphasized the wide-ranging development initiatives that have uplifted the lives of people across every corner of the country during this period. He noted that the Modi government has worked tirelessly for the welfare of citizens through the effective implementation of numerous welfare schemes targeting health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, science and technology.

"From the borders to the heartland, the government has reached the last mile with a vision of inclusive development," said the Chief Minister.

He further underscored India’s accomplishments in defense, agriculture, space research, digital economy (UPI), and the broader march towards self-reliance. "The world now respects India’s story of growth, strength, and sovereignty," Dr. Saha said.

As part of the event marking 11 years of the Modi government, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and toured a beautifully curated exhibition on the government’s development journey, hosted within the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan premises.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also addressed a press conference at BJP head quarter in Agartala, where he outlined key milestones of the Modi government's transformative tenure and answered various questions raised by the media.
