A fresh controversy has surfaced on social media over the donation of a cow for Qurbani in Rajnagar under Gomati district, with some facebook users falsely claiming that the animal was donated by the government. In response, Billal Miah, who is at the center of the issue, has yesterday midnight issued a public clarification.

Speaking out firmly, Billal Miah stated, “Regarding the controversy over donating a cow for Qurbani in Udaipur, I want to make it very clear, the cow was donated entirely on my own initiative. Some people on social media are falsely claiming that the government donated the cow, but that is not true.”

The statement aims to dispel misinformation being circulated online and affirms that the donation was a Minority Morcha's own contribution and not linked to any official government program or initiative. Billal Miah’s clarification comes amid rising public interest and political interpretations surrounding religious and social donations in the region.

Local residents and community members have also responded to the clarification, urging for restraint and truthfulness in public discourse, especially on sensitive religious matters like Qurbani.

This incident once again highlights the need for responsible communication on social media platforms and the importance of verifying facts before spreading claims.
