Senior Advocate Chandrasekhar Sinha Passes Away at 73

Senior advocate of the Tripura High Court, Shri Chandrasekhar Sinha, passed away this evening at ILS Hospital in Agartala. He had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past few days but succumbed despite medical efforts.

Born in Kamalpur, Tripura, Shri Sinha was a student at Maharaja Bir Bikram College in 1971. He began his professional career in the Planning Department of the Government of Tripura. Later, after pursuing legal studies, he dedicated himself to the legal profession and earned a reputation as a sharp and intelligent lawyer.

Shri Sinha is survived by his only son and daughter-in-law. His wife, Sandhya Sinha, had passed away just five months earlier.

His demise has left a void in the legal fraternity of Tripura.
