TBSE Releases Annual Academic Calendar for 2025–26 Madhyamik Exams

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has released the official annual calendar for the Madhyamik and Madrassa Alim Examinations for the academic session 2025–2026. In the notification issued on 14th May 2025, TBSE has outlined specific dates for Class IX registration (for the 2027 exam batch), special registrations, form submissions, and practical examinations. Dr. Dulal Dey, Secretary of TBSE, stated, “The calendar has been issued to ensure a smooth and timely academic process for all concerned schools and candidates across Tripura. Strict adherence to the schedule is mandatory.”

According to the calendar, online registration for Class IX students (exam year 2027) will begin on 1st August 2025 and continue till 30th August 2025. Schools must verify, scrutinize, and submit the documents online within the scheduled period. Printing of registration certificates will begin from 1st September 2025. Corrections in registration certificates can be made between 1st and 30th September 2025. Special registrations for external, improvement, and equivalence category candidates for the 2026 Madhyamik exam will be conducted from 20th to 26th September 2025, while the online submission of special registration data will take place in October 2025.

The final phase of the process includes submission of TM Forms for Madhyamik 2026 candidates. Online form filling for regular and external candidates will take place from 9th January to 31st January 2026. Schools must submit verification reports along with the online payment receipt to the board. Madhyamik Practical Exams 2026 are scheduled from 17th November to 6th December 2025. Dr. Dey further added, “All schools are directed to follow the timeline strictly. Any failure to meet deadlines will result in additional procedures like special registration. Any changes, if necessary, will be communicated through local newspapers.”
