CLP leader Birajit vows to fight for public issues

Newly appointed Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Chief Birajit Sinha on Sunday pledged to raise issues of public concern both within the Assembly and outside. Speaking after being felicitated by Youth Congress and NSUI leaders in Agartala, the veteran Congress leader said he is committed to voicing the people’s concerns and holding the government accountable.

Sinha noted that his appointment was warmly welcomed by party workers across the state. “Many Congress workers who have remained loyal to the party through difficult times are happy. Their support has strengthened my resolve to fight for public issues,” he said.

Expressing confidence in fulfilling public expectations, Sinha reiterated his commitment to advocating for people’s rights. “I assure the people of Tripura that I will actively raise all matters of public interest—whether inside the Assembly or on the streets,” he added.
