DGP Anurag Dhankar Holds Strategy Meet with Top Police Brass

Newly appointed Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Dhankar chaired his first high-level strategy meeting with senior officials of the Tripura Police at the Police Headquarters on Monday. The meeting brought together all DIG and IG-level officers for an in-depth discussion on the current law and order situation, crime control strategies, and future policing priorities.

According to police sources, the meeting focused on reviewing ground realities across the state and assessing the effectiveness of ongoing operations. Senior officials briefed the DGP on key challenges and enforcement measures being taken in their respective jurisdictions.

This marks DGP Dhankar’s first major interaction with the state's top police leadership since assuming office. Prior to the meeting, he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu at Raj Bhavan.
