Two Minors Arrested for Market Burglary in Belonia

Two minor boys were arrested late Thursday night from Bhawanipur under Jatrapur police station in connection with a burglary case. On May 7, around 25 shops at Uttar Bharat market in Belonia were burgled during the night. Shop shutters were broken and cash and valuables stolen.

Following the incident, police launched an investigation with the help of forensic experts and dog squads. CCTV footage helped identify the culprits, both minors from Bhawanipur. After alerting nearby police stations, a joint team from Belonia, Jatrapur, and PR Bari raided their residence and detained them.

Stolen items including Guthka packets and cigarettes were recovered. Police are continuing further investigation into the case.
