The Muslims down the annals of history resembling the pre-reformation Christians have specialized in abusing and attacking people belonging to all other faiths as part of their delusion of self-assured superiority. Despite the ignoble origin and history of the faith and brutal depredations of its practitioners wherever they have gone, the followers of the unreformed desert faith seemingly remain steadfast in their hateful negativity towards others.

Among innumerable instances in historical times as well as present, the point is poignantly borne out by the acts of perfidies of a minuscule section of Muslims in Tripura, till recently an island of peace and harmony. At a time when national outrage is at its peak over the cold-blooded and selective massacre of 28 Hindus by Pak-sponsored terrorists in Pahalgaon area of Kashmir , a few Muslim miscreants of Tripura seem hell-bent upon subverting the peace in the state.

Nothing illustrates the point better than the derogatory post made in the social media by a Muslim youth identified as Javed Hossain in Udaipur. This bigoted criminal made a highly derogatory comment in a social media post against the temple of ‘Mata Tripureshwari’ and the presiding deity therein , triggering widespread protests by the Hindu community. It is well known that the temple of ‘Mata Tripureshwari’ is one of the holiest Hindu shrines and a ;Shaktipeeth’ in the Indian subcontinent but this did not deter the miscreant Javed Hossain from making filthy comments against the temple as well as the presiding deity.

As part of the spontaneous protest against this outrage a huge crowd led by the ‘Hindu Jagaran Manch’ today launched blockade on the national highway on the Netaji Subhas bridge across the river Gomati demanding immediate arrest of the culprit Javed Hossain. This was done after a FIR against him had been filed him with the police. Sources from Udaipur said that after a large number of vehicles had got stranded on both sides of the bridge , the SDM (Udaipur) Tridib Sarkar, SDPO Nirman Das, OC of Radhakishorepur police station Babul Das rushed to the spot with a large police and TSR force. They assured the blockading people that they would soon arrest Javed Hossain who had fled the town and his residence and the public demand for removing the ‘Jihadis’ from the temple complex will be discussed at the appropriate level. The police administration also gave it in writing to the leaders of ‘Hindu Jagaran Manch’ that Javed Hossain will be arrested at the earliest and then the blockade was withdrawn by the Manch and its followers and members.
