Justice Arindam Lodh retires from service, given farewell by the high court bar association

Justice Arindam Lodh of the high court of Tripura has completed his tenure as justice of the high court today and was given a warm farewell by the high court bar association. Justice was born on March 25 1963 and had secured his Bsc (pure science) degree from MBB college , Agartala and did his Llb degree from a reputed law college in Calcutta. He is the son of former leading high court advocate of Tripura, Apangshu Mohan Lodh who had expired in the year 2015 from old age ailments. As an advocate Arindam Lodh had a flourishing practice in the course of which he also worked as assistant solicitor general and standing counsel for many central organizations in Tripura like the Railway, BSF and other bodies.

He had been elevated as a justice of the high court of Tripura on May 7 2018 and passed a number of landmark orders some of which have also been reported. Justice Arindam Lodh retired from service today after attaining the age of superannuation. The high court bar association today gave a warm farewell to justice Arindam Lodh in the room in presence of chief justice Aparesh Kumar Sinha, justice Sabyasachi Dutta-Purkayastha and Justice Biswajit Palit. All senior advocates of the high court including high court bar council secretary Subrata Sarkar, vice president Prabal Kumar Ghosh, senior advocates Sankar Deb , Shamik Deb and other were present. The secretary of the high court bar council advocate Subrata Sarkar gave the vote thanks with a brief speech.
