Tripura in National Spotlight for Shocking Animal Cruelty Incident

Tripura has once again made headlines at the national level, but this time for a disturbing and inhumane act. A viral video circulating on social media platforms shows a tribal youth brutally killing a dog by slamming it to the ground. Another video clip later surfaced, allegedly showing the same individual hanging another dog from a tree after killing it in a similar manner.

The incident sparked outrage among netizens, with many demanding strict legal action against the accused. The youth, identified on social media as Badar Jamatia, is yet to be traced by the police. Despite the widespread public outcry, authorities have not yet been able to confirm his identity or make an arrest.

In response to the incident, Animal Husbandry Minister Sudhangshu Das has reportedly instructed officials to conduct a swift investigation. However, as of now, Tripura government or Police has not made any official statement regarding the arrest of the accused.
