Yesterday, the India Bloc claimed to the Election Commission that the candidate for East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency Kriti Singh's educational qualification certificate, ST certificate and his voter ID card were falsified. All India Alliance leaders have demanded that all documents including proof of educational qualification of Kriti Singh be made public. The demand was made to the Election Commission and the party from which Kriti Devi Singh is the candidate from India Bloc's press conference at Krishak Bhavan in Mellarmath on Sunday. In the press conference, the leaders of India Block, Jiten Chowdhury, Sudip Roy Barman and Shankar Prasad Dutta presented the issues respectively. their complaint is that

In 2018, Kriti Devi Singh contested the assembly election in Chhatrisgarh. She then in her affidavit stated that her highest educational qualification was 10th in 1992. But she did not write anything weather she is 10th passed or not. This time in the affidavit given to contest the East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency in 2024, she has written that he has passed HSC. Two years later, the date of passing was written as 1990. Passed from Meghalaya Board, she said. In another complain the INDIA leaders said that her name is Kriti Devi Singh in the voter list of Chhatrisgarh so far. But in Tripura, she changed her name as Kriti Devi Debbarma, and fighting in the polls in East Tripura constituency as SY candidate. Kriti Singh has also announced a diploma in rural management from an institute in Gujarat.

The India Block leaders has specifically demanded that Kriti Devi Singh's educational qualifications be made public. If she changes her name in the affidavit, it must be published in the newspaper. In which newspaper they are given advertisement the election Commission should inform to the voters. Kriti Devi Singh's scheduled tribe certificate has also been demanded to be made public.

The INDIA block leaders said that any Citizens of India can contest elections in any constituency. There is no objection. But the name must be in the voter list. The certified copy of that name has to be submitted to the Election Commission. Highlighting these issues, Jitendra Chowdhury Sudip Roy Barman, Shankarprasad Dutta said that the election is a high-level political struggle, there needs to be maintained ethics and utmost transparency and honesty. But in her case it is absolutely missing, the INDIA block leaders said.
