After the home vote and essential services, vote through postal ballot for the West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency in progress

Voting through postal ballots by the government employees, poll officials and security personnel has been started today in the designated centers of the West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency. It will continue till tomorrow. In Agartala, the polling through the postal ballot is going on in Shishu Bihar School.

This was the third phase of the voting process as the home voting and voting for people involved in essential services were completed earlier. An official spokesman told the reporters that the voting for people involved in essential services was held on Monday at Shishu Bihar School Centre. A total of 42 persons involved in essential services cast their vote. This is for the first time the services of the journalists involved in election coverage were considered as essential services.
