BJP workers take initiative to organise voluntary blood donation camps to meet growing need

In order to make up for the growing scarcity of blood for transfusion into needy patients, the workers and leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have taken a major initiative. The Agartala Town ‘Yuba Morcha’ committee, a front organization of the BJP, organized a major voluntary blood donation camp in the election office of the party this morning. Responding to the call of the ‘Yuba Morcha’ workers altogether 250 people voluntarily donated blood which was scientifically packaged by health department technicians. The chief minister Dr Manik Saha attended the programme and encouraged the donors as well as the workers and leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
