One more 10,323 teacher falls dead in IGM hospital after prolonged illness without treatment

The trail of death of jinxed 10,323 group of teachers has been growing longer intermittently with periodic deaths from untreated diseases and suffering. Yesterday another illegally retrenched under-graduate teacher Rajsekhar Chowdhury, resident of Bankumari area in Jogendra Nagar, succumbed to death in IGM  hospital from multiple medical complications in liver, kidney and heart that had remained untreated due to poverty. Rajsekhar Chowdhury (45) is survived by his wife , a son studying in class XI and relatives. His death has raised the total casualties of illegally retrenched 10,323 teachers to 177 , at least thirty five of whom committed suicide. 
Sources among the retrenched 10,323 teachers said that Rajsekhar Chowdhury had been appointed as under-graduate teacher in early 2014 when he had been working as auto-rickshaw driver to maintain his family. His father Usha Sekhar Chowdhury who was secretary of pro-left Tripura Earth Artisans Association had breathed his last last year and Rajsekhar Chowdhury who had been working as LIC agent to survive with family after retrenchment from service was appointed to the post . 
Out of depression from loss of job Rajsekhar Chowdhury who was also a social activist had contracted diseases of liver, kidney and heart and gradually his condition started deteriorating . He was unable to undergo proper treatment for his ailments and finally after collapsing in house he was shifted to IGM hospital where he breathed his last. Senior CPI (M) leaders of the area as well as many 10,323 teachers visited his house in Bankumari Jogendra Nagar to pay homage to Rajsekhar Chowdhury.
