HS (+2) stage result of TBSE : 100% pass and 100% failure rate of schools All over the state

The candidates from as many as 39 schools across the state achieved perfect results-that is, all candidates passed- in the higher secondary examination-2024, results of which were declared by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) this morning. This includes a number of privately run english medium schools run by missionaries and three ‘Madrasas’ and five other schools from whom only one candidate appeared in the HS (+2) exam this year. The highest number of 65 students appeared and passed from the Depacherra Holy Cross HS school. The three ‘Madrasas’ that achieved a perfect result are Barnarayan Islamia H.S. (Fazil) Madrasa of Sonamura, Kurti HS (F)+2 state Madrasa of Dharma Nagar subdivision and Tilla Bazar Islamia HS (F) ‘Madrasa’ of Kailasahar.
But the worrisome fact is that candidates from 13 schools from across the state-all failed . This includes seven school from where only one candidate each appeared at the HS (+2) exam this year. But interestingly , the list of 100% failure from schools include the remote Raishyabari HS school as well as the Surjyamoni Nagar HS school on the southern outskirts of the state capital from where only one candidate had appeared and failed. The Board authority formally did not make any comment on this but said off the record that the issue will  be taken up with the concerned schools through the education department and reasons for such dismal result will be looked into. The ‘Result Abstract’ (Provisional) given by the TBSE authority did not thrown light on subdivisional performances for the HS (+2) examination while the record of performance under the TTAADC schools is also vague because the results have been declared in terms of Grading like A-1, B-1 etc in stead of divisions as earlier.
