East Tripura loksabha election 2024: Average Polling Percentage upto 9 am is 16.97%, no untoward incident reported

East Tripura loksabha election 2024 started peacefully from this morning. Voters were seen standing in long queues at most of the polling stations. However, the voters had to face the problem due to intense heat weave. Im many places there was no drinking water facilities.
It is reported that Amarpur Girls School had three Polling Stations. But drinking water was not available in even one polling station.
According to the information of the State Election Commission Average Polling Percentage upto 9am in 2-Tripura East PC is 16.97%. No one complained that there is or was any disturbances. The number of polling agents of the opposition party is slightly higher in East Tripura Lok Sabha seats than in West Tripura Lok Sabha seats. No complaints of polling agents being prevented from entering came till nine o'clock in the morning.
