Chess prodigy Aradhya Das returns home to warm reception after making Tripura proud

Tripura’s chess prodigy Aradhya Das returned home today after achieving glory in the just-concluded Asian Youth Chess-24 tournament held in Alma Ata, capital of Kazakhsthan. She was cordially received at the MBB airport by her parents, relatives and chess enthusiasts including the office bearers of the Tripura Chess Association (TCA). A resident of Agartala’s Chitta Ranjan Area and daughter of Anuj Kumar Das and Anju Rani Das, Aradhya had taken part in the just-concluded Asian Youth Chess-24 held in Alma Ata, capital of Kazakhsthan. 
In the Asian Youth Chess Aradhya had won an individual Bronze medal in the classical time-control section and she followed this up with a silver medal as member of Indian team. In the shortest format of Blitz championship Aradhya won a gold medal as member of the Indian team. After arrival at the airport Aradhya was given a warm welcome today and in reply to queries from the media she thanked all and attributed her success to the tireless effort of her coach and blessings from God the almighty. Aradhya’s family members and office bearers of Tripura Chess Association (TCA) feel that she had made an extraordinarily good beginning and she break new grounds with her inherent chess talent.
