The Indian projects head of Bangladeshi multinational PRAN (Programme for Rural Advancement Nationally) Beverages and designated Executive Director Sujan Krishna Roy (59) breathed his last yesterday in the evening from a massive cardiac arrest. He was going back home to his apartment from head office after office hour but when he was climbing a staircase to his apartment Sujan Krishna Roy suffered a massive cardiac arrest and expired immediately, even  before being taken to hospital . His mortal remains are being taken to his home town Barishal today for cremation and performing of last rites. 

Late Sujan Krishna Roy, a chemical engineer by education , had joined the PRAN group long ago and contributed to the growth and development of the multinational company . Ever since the group had come to Tripura and set up a factory and business late Sujan Krishna Roy was the general manager of the Tripura project for a long time and was well known to the business and cultural world of Tripura.He had been instrumental in PRAN group’s annual sponsorship of the largest quiz programme of northeast, organised by the state’s highest-accessed news portal Tripurainfo.com every year. 

For his sterling service to the company the management of the PRAN group promoted Sujan Krishna Roy to the rank of Executive Director and put him in charge of their entire Indian wing of business with ongoing projects in Tamil Nadu , Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Uttara Khand. The PRAN group management as well as the Tripurainfo.com have expressed shocked and dismay over the untimely death of Sujan Krishna Roy and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
