A teacher allegedly beaten to death in Udaipur

A school teacher named Abhijit Dey was beaten to death in Udaipur. The deceased teacher's wife alleged that her husband was called to Shankar Karmakar's house on Polotti Road and beaten severely on Thursday. He was accused of sending sexual massage to the mobile phone of a girl studying in eighth standard.
It is reported that the seriously injured Abhijit Babu was taken into custody by the police but without any medical treatment, when he was handed over to the court on Friday, Abhijit Dey fell on the ground in front of the judge. When he started vomiting blood in the court, he was sent to Gomati District Hospital. From there he was referred to GB Hospital. He died at GB Hospital on Saturday afternoon. The GB Hospital authorities released the body without post-mortem after the death, despite the family members reporting that he was beaten up and there was multiple injury marks on the body. When the body was brought to Udaipur on Saturday night, the teacher's family took the body back to Gomati District Hospital for post-mortem. Currently, the dead body is in the mortuary of Gomati District Hospital. An autopsy will be conducted today. According to many people in Udaipur, Abhijit Dey tutored for 20 years before getting a government job as an English subject teacher.
There is no news that any student or parents have spoken bad words about Abhijit Dey. People have also questioned the truth of this allegation of Shankar Karmakar, who is known as the leader of the ruling party. Abhijit Dey's wife also allagged that many people had gathered at Shankar Karmakar's house when he was called at their place. The wife of the dead teacher has alleged that her husband was beaten up according to the plan. Questions are also raised about the role of the police. The people of the area, including the family of the deceased teacher, demanded a fair investigation into the incident and exemplary action against the culprits.
