I am fortunate enough to possess the ten hardbound volumes of the Mahabharata and the three paperback volumes of the Ramayana, each page a testament to his dedication and scholarship.
Educated at Ramakrishna Mission School, Narendrapur, Presidency College, Kolkata, Delhi School of Economics, and Trinity College, Cambridge, Debroy's career spanned prestigious institutions and roles, including Presidency College, Kolkata, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. His academic journey was nothing short of illustrious, marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence and a relentless pursuit of knowledge.
