Three more civil servants suspended for violating election code of conduct, order of suspension of one revoked

3 more government employees have been suspended for violating the election code of conduct. In an order issued by the Director of Primary Education Department, Prabrajika Roy, a graduate teacher of Kulai SB School in Ambasa, has been suspended from service. Prabrajika Roy is currently on deputation to Lambuchhara High School in Kamalpur subdivision. Prabrajika Roy was appointed as First Polling Officer for polling in 46-Surma (SC) Assembly Constituency. While in office, she addressed the camera in the name of the leadership of a political party. She was therefore suspended from service on the recommendation of the Returning Officer of 2-Tripura East (ST) Parliamentary Constituency.

Besides, in an order signed by the Director of School Education, Samir Ranjan Dev, a post-graduate teacher of English Medium Class XII School, Bishalgarh, and Rifleman (GD) Shubhankar Deb Ray alias Sutan Deb Ray, 10th Battalion, TSR, in an order signed by AIGP, Police Headquarters, have been suspended from service.

Meanwhile, Moushumi Ghosh, LDC of Class XII School, Kalachhari, Dhalai district, was suspended from service on the recommendation of the Returning Officer of 2-Tripura East (ST) Parliamentary Constituency as well as District Magistrate of Dhalai district. Moushumi Ghosh was appointed as First Polling Officer for election work in 46-Surma (SC) Assembly Constituency. Later this order was amended and the order of temporary suspension of Moushumi Ghosh was withdrawn on the recommendation of the Returning Officer.
