Another assistant teacher temporarily suspended for alleged negligence in election work

An assistant teacher engaged in election work as presiding officer was dismissed today. Based on the report of ARO of Tripura East (ST) Parliamentary Constituency i.e. Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Kumarghat sub-division, the Director of Primary Education department suspended him from service in an order issued today.

It has been reported that Soumitra Daring, the assistant teacher of Yazakhaora SB School in Kailashahar sub-division, has been temporarily suspended from the job due to negligence in election work.

He was assigned election duties as Presiding Officer.

Notably, More than 20 government officers and employees of the West Tripura Lok Sabha polls and Tripura East (ST) parliamentary constituency have been suspended for violating the electoral code of conduct so far on the orders of the State Election Commission.
