Some senior leaders of the BJP and Tipra Matha are unhappy with the behaviour of Pradyot Debbarman, in which, BJP vice-president Patalkonya Jamatia held a press conference yesterday and publicly called Pradyot Debbarman a BJP broker and familyist selfish. Patalkanya Jamatia also complains that Pradyot is doing everything by thinking about himself and his family while talking about solving the problems of tribals.

Meanwhile, Tipra Matha Supremo Pradyot Kishore appealed to the voters of all sections to vote early in the morning in a press conference ahead of the polling of Lok Sabha elections in East Tripura constituency to be held tomorrow. But he did not even mention his sisters name in the press conference to vote. BJP candidate Kriti Devi Debbarman is the candidate in the East Tripura loksabha seat who is the sister of Pradyot Debbarman. Therefore, the mystery is tied with the press conference of Pradyot Kishore at the end of the polling phase of the East Tripura Lok Sabha seat why Pradyot didn't appeals voters to vote BJP candidate. In this press conference inside the Rajbari on Wednesday before the election campaign is over, Pradyot Debbarman has clearly called on the people of his party to understand the situation and vote for the political party of their choice. Pradyot Kishore has never once said to vote for his sister or BJP candidate. He called to vote for whoever they are wanted.

Meanwhile, Pradyot Kishor tried to avoid the issue when asked about calling for a vote boycott in the village hills of the state in the same press conference. When pressed by reporters on the matter, he blamed Manik Sarkar, the chief minister of twenty-five years, for the boycott of votes by the people of rural areas in the state. Why do you want to avoid the question by blaming the CPIM, when presently your Tipra Matha Party is now in the ruling seats and power of the ADC administration? Embarrassed by such counter-questions from journalists, Pradyot then said that the ADC did not have money so far and could not work. Now Amit Shah has said that he will give money so from now on work will be done for the ADC people. So he urged not to boycott the vote.
