Two more government employees have been suspended for violating the electoral code of conduct in Tripura

Two more government employees were today suspended from service for violating the electoral code of conduct in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in Tripura. As per the press statement issued by the state election commission, Bamutia Block Panchayat Secretary Mohammad Zakir Hossain is among them. He has been suspended from service by an order signed by the Panchayat department.
Moreover, in an order signed by the Chief Engineer of Works Department (R&B), Gautam Saha, a clerk working in Baikhora Division of South Tripura District of PWD (NH), has been suspended from service. In both cases, the order asked them not to leave their place of employment without the permission of their respective office's.
