Government of Tripura Education Department declared all schools holiday on 24-27 due to heat wave

Normal life of people across the state is disrupted due to extreme heat weather. Especially school students are finding it difficult to go to school. A warning has already been issued by the health and revenue departments of the state government that sunstroke may occur due to extreme temperatures.

Yesterday, the weather office at the airport also informed that the temperature will be higher than normal for the next 3-4 days. Keeping all these factors in mind, the state government's school education department has decided to close government and government-aided schools, ADC-run schools and private-run schools from April 24 to April 27 across the state.
