Five Rohingya Refugee detained in Kailasahar Motor Stand

Despite strengthening the security arrangement along the border due to the election, the incidents of infiltration from across the border are continuing. This was proved when police arrested five persons from Kailasahar motor stand for their suspicious movement and later found proof that they were Rohingya Refugees from Bangladesh.

There were two minors among the five detained. During interrogation they admitted that they were the residents’ of Rohingya Refugee camp in Chittagong in Bangladesh. The group crossed over to India with the help of an agent who could not be located. They told police that they were suppose to go to Hyderabad where the agent had assured good job for them.
