Housewife sustained injuries when thieves attacked with a sharp cutting weapon

A housewife sustained serious injuries when two thieves attacked her with a sharp cutting weapon as she saw them in the house and raised a cry. The thieves tried to flee but were detained by locals who rushed to the spot being attracted by the cry of the housewife. They were identified as Rahul Ahemed (18) and Hasan Uddin (19) of the nearby locality.

The housewife of Saraspur Village under Kadamtala Police Station in Dharmanagar heard some sound in her kitchen and saw two persons inside. She raised a cry and the duo attacked her with the sharp cutting weapon used by the family for domestic purposes.

Local people handed over the thieves to the local police station and demanded stern action against them. They were alleging that the incidents of theft cases have increased in the area but the police are not taking proper action.
