The role of the Border Security Forces came under question once again after incidents of cow lifting by Bangladeshi thugs twice in eight days at Sonarai village under Maracherra Gao-panchayat in Kamalpur. In both cases, the Bangladeshi miscreants entered the village cutting the border fencing despite the deployment of BSF in the area.

On Monday night the thieves stole two cows from the house of Laxman Munda and one from the house of Sitaram Kairi. It is the second incident of o lifting by Bangladeshi thugs in eight days. On June 30 the thugs lifted two cows from another house.

The two incidents within a short period have caused serious anxiety and a feeling of insecurity among the people. People are questioning the role of BSF and many alleges of connivance.
