12 feet long python recovered in Kamalpur village, stir all around

The recovery of a huge 12 feet long python in Mohanpur Muslim prara village under Kamalpur subdivision caused a sensation yesterday in the entire subdivision. Sources said that the residents of the village close to the Indo-Bangla border came across the huge python with BSF jawans standing nearby . The python had been sighted very close to the border gate guarded by the BSF.

At the sight of the python the local people got scared and the employees and officials of the forest department were informed of the presence of the big reptile. The forest department officials arrived in time and took away the python . However, the people had got scared by the sight of the python near the border gate no 2 because in recent times such a big python or other snake had never been sighted in and around the spot. A huge crowd had gathered to see the python and a few of them had dared to touch it but the fear of people got dissipated as the forest officials came to the spot and took it away.
