An allegation has been made about the withdrawal of Rs 50,000 unauthorized by imitating the signature of a customer of the State Bank Of India, Teliamura Branch. Bina Rani Das, a resident of the Maiganga area alleged that the bank authority did not pay any heed to her allegation. However, when the local Gram-Pradhan and others met the bank authority they assured to solve the problem within the next 7 days. The lady said they would take legal steps if the authority failed to give any satisfactory reply.

The incident came to light when the lady went to the bank on November 8 for a withdrawal of money and the bank staff informed her that her account didn’t have money. The lady was befooled as a sum of Rs 48,000 was supposed to be credited to her account as the first installment of the PM Housing scheme.
