Former member of TTAADC Rahindra Debbarma no more, ADC paid tribute

A former Member of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Rahindra Debbarma breathed his last at GB Hospital on Tuesday evening. He was 76 and survived by his wife, two sons, and four daughters. Rahindra Debbarma was suffering from various diseases for the last many days. He became a member of the TTAADC from the Takarjala-Jampuiajala constituency as a Tripura Upajati Yuba Samity (TUJS) candidate in 1985.

A pall of gloom d descended as the news spread and a large number of people gathered to pay their last respect to the leaders. Chairman of TTAADC Jagadish Debbarma, and Chief Executive Member Purna Chandra Jamatia paid last respect to the deceased leader when the body was taken to the ADC headquarter at Khumulung.
