Chief Minister to undertake a district-wise review of development projects, begins with South Tripura on March 18

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has decided to go on a round of district-wise review of the progress in the implementation of development projects. The review will start with South Tripura District which will be held at Sabroom on March 18. Chief Secretary JK Sinha and the secretaries of all the departments will remain present when the district-level officers will submit their reports.

During his first stint as Chief Minister Dr Saha has undertaken many development projects but could not follow up due to election urgency. It is learned that the Chief Minister wants the completion of ongoing projects as early as possible before undertaking new projects. It is the main aim of the present round of review.

Meanwhile, the South Tripura Head quarter Belonia is fuming over the selection of Sabroom as the venue for such an important event. The residents of Belonia are unhappy with the decision.
