BJP alleges fatal attack on their candidate in Simna, vandalism of 6/7 cars

Tipramotha miscreants yesterday night allegedly attacked BJP contesting candidate Binod Debbarma of Simna Assembly. Six to seven cars were vandalized. Several people were injured in the attack. Simna mandal president Yogendra Debbarma directly blamed the miscreants of Tipra Matha party behind the incident.

BJP's complaint Voters are regularly leaving the Tipra Matha party and joining the BJP after the election was announced in the Simna assembly constituency. Hundreds of thousands of voters in Simna assembly constituency are all set to join the BJP in the next few days. In the meantime, the president of Booth No. 8, Surjit Debbarma, was seriously injured in an attack by miscreants in the area adjacent to the house of Daigyabari-based BJP candidate Binod Debbarma at around eight o'clock on Monday night. In addition, miscreants extensively vandalized six other vehicles, including the vehicle used by candidate Binod Debbarma. The assailants even threatened to kill candidate Binod Debbarma for allegedly contesting the elections for the BJP.
