Non-tribal front of ‘Tipra Motha’ express satisfaction over Congress-CPI (M) support to ‘Greater Tipraland’

The non-tribal front organization of the ‘Tipra Motha’ which will soon come under the platform of a ‘Citizens Forum’ has expressed satisfaction over the support to the ‘Greater Tipraland’ extended by the Congress and CPI (M). The chief of the Forum and former MLA Tapas De said that it is a good sign that both the parties have accepted the constitutionality of the demand . “A campaign of calumny has been launched by a vested interest group over the demand for Greater Tipraland but now the parties seem to be gradually realizing the legitimacy of the demand ; there is an attempt at creating confusion in the minds of the people but we urge upon the people not be misled or confused by the baseless campaign against the demand” said Tapas De in a statement.

He said that the purpose of ‘Tipra Motha’ is to form a corruption free and transparent government and thanks are due to all people belonging to all tribals , SCs, OBCs and minorities who support this demand. Tapas De asserted that the next election will be dominated by the demand for Tipraland and it will be supported by all the parties.
