Interactive session on the prospect of a Tea Auction Centre in Tripura

Many prominent personalities involved in Tea industries across the country were assembled in the State Guest House to participate in an interactive session to explore the possibilities of setting up a Tea Auction Center in Agartala. The participants discussed various sides of the proposal.

Santosh Saha, Chairman of Tripura Tea Development Corporation strongly argued in favor of setting up an auction center and said it will be a big step for the economy of the state in general and the tea industry n particular.

Rajanigandha Sil Naskar, Controler of licensing of Tea Board of India gave an overview of the tea industries in Tripura and also discussed its problems and prospects. Officials of the Tea Auction Centre of Guwahati and Ko0lkata alo participated in the discussion.
