Disregarding slogans promoting good governance from house to house, Left march was blocked in Gandachara

The government is promoting the slogan good governance of the administration. BUT CPIM State Secretariat Member Lalit Mohan Tripura alleged that slogans of good governance are being given while people have no right to speak.

Expressing anger against the ruling party, former MLA of Gandachra sub-division Lalit Mohan Tripura also said that a BJP leader of Gandachra sub-division had made ugly comments about CPIM state secretary and former MP Jitendra Chowdhury and his family. In protest against this, a procession was organized in Gandachara on Saturday. The police stopped the march of CPIM. The police told them that a procession cannot be held here. Asked to know the reason, no reply was received. He then questioned why the people could not protest against the failure to take action against the miscreants in the state. Former MP Jitendra Choudhury has tried to defame in front of the people of the state by spreading false propaganda. Police need to take immediate action against the accused. He also said that postering in the name of good governance has been done at various places in Gandachara at the cost of government exchequer. When there is so much promotion of good governance in the state, why misgovernance, he asked.
