The ruling BJP in Tripura has suffered a second setback today in the form of resignation of a popular Booth president in 57-Jubaraj Nagar assembly constituency of north Tripura. Nazib Uddin , a popular minority leader and president of Booth no-30 in the 57-Jubaraj Nagar assembly constituency , has tendered his resignation from his post in a letter to the concerned ‘Mandal’ president. The copies of the letter of resignation have been sent to the district president, north Tripura and state BJP president.

In the moving letter of resignation Nazib Uddin said that he had been conferred the membership of BJP on November 19 in the year 2015 and had been discharging his organizational duties with utmost sincerity, as a result of which he had been made the President of Booth no-30. “From now on after my resignation I will keep on working as a worker of the party; for personal reasons I am not able to work any longer as president of the Booth no-30” said Nazib in his letter. However sources from Jubaraj Nagar said that Nazib Uddin , a sincere and dedicated worker, had been upset over the style and nature of functioning of the party in Jubaraj Nagar and this is the reason why he has resigned. Many other resignations are likely to follow.
